The ENGINEERING SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of HARBISON-WALKER REFRACTORIES, offers a range of support services for customers utilising refractory linings in their heat-using process plant.

This includes customers in the metallurgical (ferrous and non-ferrous), minerals processing, power generation, incineration, ceramic, glass and chemical process industries amongst others.

The following services are available collectively or separately according to the clients' requirements:

INSPECTION AND APPRAISAL

• Evaluation of current refractory practice and performance.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION AND RECOMMENDATION

• Selection of materials for optimum refractory performance.

SUPPLY

• Supply of refractory products manufactured by HARBISON-WALKER and, when required, other approved suppliers.

INSTALLATION ADVISORY SERVICE

• To advise on correct installation in accordance with Harbison-Walker Refractories Mixing and Using Instructions.
